Ignite Wins Tender with the Norwegian Environment Agency
The Norwegian Environment Agency, and implicitly all organizations that are part of the Norwegian Ministry of Climate and Environment, has selected Ignite Procurement as their spend management solution going forward.
A spend management solution to support strategic procurement
Although the contract was formally signed with the Norwegian Environment Agency, the agreement also covers all subordinate agencies or organizations that are part of the Norwegian Ministry of Climate and Environment.
The Norwegian Environment Agency is currently focusing on building a strategic procurement function across the different agencies. In this work, the agency identified the need for digital procurement tools to support them in a more strategic-driven future. As stated in the public tender, Ignite Procurement will help facilitate and support;
Data management across multiple organizations
Spend and procurement analytics for overview, insights, and follow-up
Spend classification and category management
Enrich existing spend and procurement data
Contract management and cost savings
Reporting, statistics, and KPIs
Moreover, the public tender highlights the importance of the solution being user-friendly and easy to use.
