How was Your first day at Ignite?
I feel so lucky to be able to spend the summer with Ignite. My onboarding started remotely at the end of May but officially, getting a seat at the office at Epicenter was something else, not to mention the smooth curved monitor; my laptop alone will never be the same. Everyone I met in the office was very welcoming and friendly, and I immediately felt included.
In your view, what makes the team Ignite special?
What makes the whole team Ignite special is that it is always "we" or "us" rather than "I" and "you." There is absolutely no self-righteousness, and people here know how to have fun while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. My impression is that Ignite is an innovative company with user's interests at heart. Moreover, the team works diligently to achieve the company's vision and mission.
If you could describe Ignite Procurement in three words, what would they be?
Progressive, connected, and purposeful.
What's a fun fact about you?
Coming up with fun facts about oneself somehow suddenly makes you forget everything you have ever done, seen, heard, or said. But, I will share something good. I was embarrassingly late to notice the arrow in the FedEx logo, and it was not before practicing resuscitation on Resusci Anne that I realized Bee Gees are singing "Stayin' alive" and not "Stena Line."
