We are thrilled to announce that Ignite Procurement has won the award for Norway's VEXT (growth) Company 2020.
Over the past few months, we competed against nine other finalists in Finansavisen's VEXT Program 2020. On the 6th of June, Ignite Procurement was awarded first place winning the title «Norway's VEXT Company 2020».
Winning the award means a lot to the entire team and reaffirms that we have a scalable product with high growth potential, says Sigbjørn Nome, CEO and co-founder of Ignite Procurement. In a fierce competition, consisting of numerous talented companies with great business ideas, it is truly gratifying that the jury awarded us the title.
Although the win is a team effort, none of this would be possible without the support of our customers.
While this gives us the motivation to continue the hard work, we also want to share the award with all our customers, states Børge Langedal, Customer Success Director and co-founder of Ignite Procurement. Their continued support is vital and drives us to do better - every day!
The award gives us confidence in moving forward, where the goal is to enter the global marketplace.
We want to expand internationally, in markets such as Germany, the UK and the US, and are now considering which market to target first, explains Sigbjørn Nome.
The VEXT Program
The program is organized jointly by Finansavisen, PwC, Nordea, and Epicenter Oslo, where Norwegian scaleup companies compete in becoming Norway's best growth company.
After an intense round of auditions in September 2019, ten companies where voted into the final by a jury consisting of highly talented individuals. All the finalists got their time to shine through the web-based TV series, with individual episodes showcasing the different companies. In the final show, the jury selected a winner based on several factors including business idea, market and growth potential.
