Ignite Procurement is very excited to welcome three women with three very different skills to our growing team this spring: Iuliia Thuen, Praachi Verma, and Hanna Miller.
Iuliia Thuen, Chief Operating Officer
"I have worked on several procurement transformations during my McKinsey career and it is, by far, the area where we had the biggest monetary impact within the shortest time. Ignite Procurement solution is truly a value add for any CPO in any industrial company."
Thuen brings with her over a decade of experience in consulting. Before joining Ignite as Chief Operations Officer, Thuen had held a number of key consulting roles at companies like McKinsey and Accenture. Additionally, Thuen also has experience working for some years in the investment banking industry.
When asked why she joined Ignite, Thuen explained that she wanted to work in a fast-growing startup. She added that she truly believes in the product and puts complete trust in the amazing team that comprises Ignite Procurement.
Raised in Ukraine, Thuen moved to Oslo in 2008 and lives here with her husband and two sons. Thuen describes herself as “a mother, runner, and reader” — in the same order. Thuen also loves to try her hand at investing and hopes to run a marathon this year. When not consulting, managing, or investing, Thuen can be found listening to podcasts and sharing tips and advice on how to survive the Norwegian winters.
Praachi Verma, Content Manager

Verma has a background in writing, editing, proofreading, and digital marketing. She is firmly rooted in content writing, copywriting, and content strategy spanning for over seven years, gained from working with her clients from various industry verticals. She has also authored a novel and has written many newspaper and magazine articles.
Working as a full-time, freelance writer for SaaS and eCommerce companies, Verma learned a ton about digital marketing and social media, besides getting to sharpen her writing skills. “But something was missing,” she says when asked why she changed her career path. She joined Ignite because the company has a strong vision and great product besides a team of skilled individuals who trust one another and agree on common objectives.
Verma originally hails from India and holds a degree in Dental Surgery. She moved to Oslo in 2016 and lives here with her husband and daughter. When she is not typing, Verma can be found with her nose in a thriller or a science-fiction story.
Hanna Miller, Account Executive
"In many industries, automation is making manual operational tasks easier; however, it’s still a struggle to implement solutions that can empower more strategic decision-making. The procurement industry has been successfully moving along the path of procure-to-pay automation, but when it comes to analytics, there is still a lot of potential for solutions that facilitate a proactive, data-driven approach to prioritize resources and leverage knowledge."
Miller joined Ignite Procurement as an Account Executive. She has a background in business development, marketing, and sales with one year of experience in data analysis and blockchain. Before joining Ignite, Miller worked as an Inside Sales Representative for EMEA with Arundo Analytics. When it comes to business development, Miller says, her mantra is simple: “address the pain points to solve the actual issue.”
Miller was born and raised in Belarus. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Political Economy from BI Norwegian Business School and ISM University of Management and Economics respectively.
Miller defines Ignite as a young company of focused people, driven by passion, that is contagious. Miller further adds that being from a country that is still trying to loosen the reins of political repression, she firmly believes in the power of innovation and its importance in global transformation. When not working, Miller can be found sitting by a fireplace and reading. Apart from reading about her industry, Miller also loves to read about how data is changing the future of democracy and capitalism.
